Ok, it’s not only Thanksgiving Day, but the last week of the regular season of Thursday Pickin’. So…..no weekly standings will be posted today, so as to build suspense for next week. I’ll post the final regular season stats and last week’s point totals on next week’s wrap-up show.
Some of you will appreciate, more of you will get a chuckle out of the fact that TB got out and ran a 5K this morning. And now I am ready for some turkey. Tunes this week were inspired by the miserable middle two k’s I endured while most of you were watching Woody Woodpecker’s annual appearance on the tube. Next week’s finale will feature the playlist of the year, taken from your choices through the year, especially the weekly winners. Also I had a dream that I was about to fly to a national championship BCS bowl for Mississippi State against Boise State. I had to go through a scanner and didnt pass it so I had to get the pat down. Well, there was Sweet, the TSA gaurd for my line! In my dream I never got on the plane. For some reason I just kept having to get back in line and Sweet had to pat me down over and over. Oh yeah, kNelms was with me. He only made it through half the pat down. Then he had to go change his pants! What a strange dream.

TB- since it is Thanksgiving, I will try to keep my naysaying to a minimum, but WTF? I finally win my POTW and have a STRONG music week, and get no props or a showing of the points? This is not proper TBU protocol. Should have been workin’ on the site instead of lollygagging your goofy butt around in some 5K that I know you came nowhere near winning, unless it was a Special Olympic event. I was gonna not posy any music in protest, but it IS Egg Bowl weekend, so the Rebel victory will be redemption enough. Choke on it Leghumper!!!!

I came in 3220th out of 6000+. BUT, I started at the absolute back of the pack, so I passed almost 2800 people and didn’t even get to the start line until 90 seconds had elapsed. So, I really came in about 2800th.
I’m impressed – it is an accomplishment to start and to finish – something I do not ever picture myself doing. I’m doing good to run 2 minute intervals!

Well, turkey day is closed, on to our next event, waiting for Christmas to open. These days, I really do not know when the season opens for Christmas. Our local radio station was already playing Christmas music. My neighbors are throwing up their lights. Am I ready or has the season opened without my willing participation as I feel it is way too early. Even my TV channel is starting the 25 days til Christmas movie-thon, as my little girls gets excited thinking there are only 25 days until Day arrives. Anywho, I have been holding off putting in my request as I am spending time with my favorite brother-in-law. Wait, with a little more thought, come to think of it, he is my only brother-in-law – still my favorite. So, I just saw the start of the game and thought I might want to vote on the Alabama – Auburn game. So here it goes. Oh shout-outs to rock star rambler, no post yet, but I have the inside track to the songs this week. Trust me!
